ANDREW WARREN - PROJECTS AND EVENTS DIRECTOR
With 14 years of experience in the entertainment world, Andrew also a graduate of the School of Audio Technology (SAE), Worked as a musician to gain entry into the industry of jingle writing and producing, sound engineering and productions. He was in Brisbane, Australia on an exchange programme to work with the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra in 1999.
Joined the Petronas Philharmonic Hall in 1998 and stayed on for the next 6 years as Stage/Production Manager. He has toured with the Malaysian Philharmonic on their Asian Tour of Japan/ Korea/ Singapore and East Malaysia. He has worked with International Classical Orchestras and Artists such as Dame Kiri Te Kenawa, The New York Phil, Both Pittsburgh and Philadelphia Orchestras, BBC Symphony, Sarah Chang, Sir Neville Marriner among others.
He was Stage Manager for both the 2001/2003 Phillips Jazz Fests and has worked along side famous jazz artist such as Diana Krall, Yellow Jackets, The Chieftains, Freddy Cole, Lady Smith Black Mambazo, Safri Duo and a host of others. Co-formed this company in 2001.
JAY NEIL - TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
He has more than 9 years of experience in designing, managing and implementing Sound Reinforcement and Lighting Systems. A graduate from the School of Audio Technology (SAE) he has had additional training at ABBEY Road Studios in London due to his work with Capricorn Technology at the Petronas Philharmonic Studio.
Among the companies he was attached to includes ASTRO Broadcasting Co, Petronas Philharmonic Concert Hall, and many other sound contractors. He has also been in the production team for many local and foreign concerts such as Michael Jackson, Ricky Martin, Shaggy, All For One, International Phillips Jazz Festivals, Singapore Jazz Fests, Scorpions, Michael Learns To Rock, Deep Purple and many others. He has also toured with guitar maestro Tommy Emmanuel as his FOH engineer on his South East Asian tours. FOH systems he has worked with includes the V-dosc, Claire Bros. and of course Meyer Sound. Co-formed this company in 2001.
PAST PRODUCTIONS
From 2004 to 2008, Ehq Projects were appointed as the official Production Company to handle such tours in Malaysia with acts such as James Brown, INXS, IL DIVO, George Benson, BackStreet Boys, My Chemical Romance ,Kool & the Gang, James Ingram, Avril Lavigne and recently Celine Dion and Sting.
We handle all aspects of production for local and foreign Promoters from pre/post productions, staging & rigging, sound & lights, power to licensing and artists permits. In the broadcast industry our involvement in their productions can be seen on such programmes like the Malaysian Idol series, So You Think You Can Dance (season I & II ), One In A Million ( season I & III ).
Apart from this EHQ has also worked together with promoters of Festivals such as the Phillips Jazz Festivals, Live & Loud , KAMI the tour and many more.
